The menstrual phase/menopause: winter, night time, the new moon

The menstrual phase (and menopausal years) is a time of rest and quiet introspection. This is when we are called to retreat into our inner sanctuary and surrender to a deep power.

During this phase we can reflect on the previous seasons, find inner clarity and even vision for the future. Our intuition is at its most sensitive, so allow your inner truths to rise to the surface. If life allows, give yourself time to fully let go and to nurture yourself. When we resist the need for rest, dis-ease will accumulate… manifesting as increased discomfort and pain (in mind, body and heart!).
